Space and technical requirements

Everything we need to perform the show at your school

We can perform our plays in almost any space within the school or the local community: an assembly hall, multipurpose room, gymnasium, cultural centre or even a nearby municipal theatre. Our set-up is specifically designed to adapt to the typical spaces found in educational centres.

We bring our own set, which is lightweight and quick to assemble, as well as our sound and image equipment. The only essential requirement is access to a standard electrical socket (220 V) close to the performance area.

The ideal performance space is approximately 8 metres wide by 5 metres deep, although the staging can be adapted to smaller spaces if necessary. We will also need seven chairs on stage, and the area should be cleared before we begin the set-up so everything can be prepared comfortably.

We do not bring our own stage lighting. If the room has sufficient natural or artificial light, that is perfectly adequate for the performance. However, if the venue has stage lighting available, it will always help enhance the final result of the show.

If the activity takes place in a theatre or cultural centre

If the performance is held in a municipal theatre or cultural centre, we can use the venue’s lighting equipment to improve the show. In that case, the venue’s technician must be present, as we will need access to the lighting system.

On the day of the performance

Our team will arrive approximately one and a half hours before the show begins to set up the stage and prepare the equipment. During this time the audience should not be in the room, as this makes the set-up much easier.

To ensure everyone can see and participate comfortably, we recommend a maximum of 250 students per performance.
